Dave, not really. We'd sent them a flier on the event and they may have passed it along to some customers but the dealers weren't officially involved.

Just wondering if there was any kind of dealership involvement before during or after the cruise on Saturday?

I'd like to see any and all photos and videos of that event, I only participated in part of it, but thought was great!

Great to see you all there and "jwight" did a great event and it went very well - Big thanks! I just wish my stomach could handle hills....oh well...

A couple of things:

1. I have pictures to share if anyone wants to see them.

2. My wife used her camera to do a short video of everyone pulling out of the Farmstead Restaurant. It didn't turn out too bad.

3. I just started a blog for Smartimes magazine called "Smart Talk". Would anyone mind if I mentioned this great trip?

Take care and hope to see you on the road.

Dave, thanks for posting - wondered where you were. Very sorry to hear about the tire and the resulting delay but at least you were back on the road pretty quickly. I was the one taking the photos when you drove by and honked. Will have some posted shortly, including your car heading the opposite direction from the rest of the the convoy. BTW, I never hear anything from my wife about our car - she refuses to have anything to do with it!

Hello Everyone, Murphy Law strikes again. I hate to admit that the 19th. Smart you saw was us, Dave and Ava from Berea The cruise had been on our calendar for two months and now we are so bummed because we missed it and missed meeting all of you,.sounds like it was great fun. I got home from work Saturday morning, took a quick shower,we hit the bank and were on the road by 9:15. Down I 71 exited on SR 83,we didn't make it a half a mile till we were running on the rim, the left rear had gone flat. By the way the air pump and flat tire fix kit work very well but this was not the time to find it out. We probably could have gone on but my wife was against it. shes still upset with me for buying a car without a spare. I called the dealer to see if there were open and if they had a tire in stock, they did. We drove back up to Bedford. Of course the tire needed to be replaced, I was told driving even a very short distance on a completely flat tire crushes the side wall and destroys it. $160 and three and a half hours later we were back at 71 & 83, it was now 3:30 . We had a copy of the cruise itinerary but by the time we found you the day was lost and we had had it. We went on into Charm and ate dinner. Happy to see the first annual April Fools Cruise so well attended and now we are REALLY looking forward to the next get to together later this spring. I saw a fellow with a red and silver Smart taking photos, if he or any of you have photos you would like to share please post them here we would love to see them.
Dave and Ava
P.S. Just wanted to say THANK YOU to you jwight for all your effort in putting this all together.

Late in getting to this but a big thank you to everyone for turning out and being flexible along the way - I don't think our GPSs were up to speed with some of the back roads. Also, my apologies to John & Donna for taking off without you on Saturday morning; no excuse and I'm glad you caught up with us at the restaurant. We all owe a big round of applause to the Farmstead Restaurant for setting up the room and for the parking space, and to Tom and Ruth for getting there early to check things out and for their help with the route. This was a true group effort and would not have been as successful without everyone's participation and enthusiasm. Kudos to our friends from Georgia and W. Virginia for joining the Ohio crowd and to the folks from Akron and Cleveland who made quite a drive to be part of the cruise. And last, it would be great to find out who was driving the yellow smart that passed the convoy as it was heading out of Charm; they were the unofficial "19th car."
