Last year we were blanked by the parade committee and were denied the chance to be in the parade. This year, I have the letter welcoming us to the parade. We are allowed to have 10 cars, up from the 6 we tried to get in last year. As of right now, I have 7 cars signed up for the parade. I need 3 more. This is on a first come, first serve basis. Once I have the 3 more cars, I will not be able to add anymore cars, so don't miss out this.
We will be meeting at the Dunkin' Donuts at 741 Cassatt Ave. at 9AM and cruise over to the parade as a club. We have no parking places in the main lot. We must show up as a club to our spot, by 9:45AM. We will have until 10:15AM to fix up our cars if we haven't already done so. They are very strict on time and will leave without us if we are not there when we are supposed to be there. This is why it is very important we arrive as a club, all 10 participants.
No commercial signage on the cars. Cars should be decorated with red, white and blue. No handmade signs are allowed. We are not permitted to throw candy or anything else into the crowd along the route. If you want to bring candy for the kids, then you must have someone in the car that is willing to walk and hand it to them.
