Hi Dave,
They are both the same horn, just relabeled. Go in thru the left wheel well. Mount to the original mounting point. Make up a couple of 8 inch wire extensions. Depress horn button, make noise, be heard. Regards, Fred.

No need for any extensions - I mounted the WOLO on the back-side of the "frame member" (for lack of the proper technical term), using the same place, otherwise, that the original horn was mounted. Same wire harness, etc. Not problem. BIG difference in the horn, however...

I installed the Wolo Bad Boy also. Added the 8 inches of wire and mounted it just in front of the coolant bottle. I probably could have mounted it on the same piece of
metal that the original horn was on but just decided to mount it higher up. GREAT
sound and If you have to use it people pay attention....Not the sissy horn that was
originally installed/

I just added the Wolo Bad Boy a couple weeks ago. (Mom and Dad gave it to me for my birthday, so cost wasn't an issue :). I followed the directions from smartusa.com, pulled off the rocker panel (reassemble by putting the tabs back on the panel, then press the panel back on!), front quarter and half the front, and I cut a new bracket for it. Yeah, most people hang it off the back of the old bracket, but this way it is oriented precisely like the original one was. Took an afternoon, and that included finding/cutting/drilling the metal for the bracket and priming/painting it black to match the old bracket. I didn't use the included relay - just hooked it up to the old horn's wires. Works great and sounds terrific.

I've had the stebel nautilus on my motorcycle (often ride in rain) which has a fair amount of vibration. It has worked flawlessly and I'm glad to see this question on the forum as I'll now add one to our smart too.

You can also install the Wolo Bad Boy horn through the driver's side wheel well. If you turn the wheel all the way to the left, you can reach the 3 plastic fasteners that hold the liner in place. Remove them and you can bend the liner and slide in the new horn in through there. After you take off the factory horn, you connect the original wires to the new horn and mount the Wolo on the other side of the bracket (closer to the firewall). It's a tight space to work in, but I was able to do it in under an hour in 30 degree weather. (I mention the temp, just in case anyone was wondering about the flexibility of the wheel well plastic liner.) There are also good DIY threads on the SCOA forum.
