Finishing Install of Area 451

I have everything done except the re-doing the wiring in the rear harness at the back of the car. The substitution tool they mentioned in the instructions is to use a bent staple because the tool actually used for it is too expensive. I tried using the staple idea to remove wires from harness to put the wires from area 451's harness but without success. Anyone can tell me if there a better inexpensive tool other than a staple to do it or tell me what I could be doing wrong. I think the tool's name has ISO in it (not sure).P.S. I did slide the safety lock on the harness to the unlock position first.

Permalink Reply by David Roller on June 28, 2009 at 12:48am: How long ago did you buy the CC. He includes the correct tool in every box now. If you go to the area 451 site it will tell you exactly which staple you need. It's not just any staple.

Found the smart under the snow...

Well I finally dug "Squirt" out from under the snow. The first major snowstorm she was tucked away in the garage. During the last snowstorm she got caught outside. Tax deduction???

Since it is tax time, and I bought my Smart in 2009, I was wondering if anyone knows of a tax deduction they have received since purchasing their Smart. I remember something early in 2009 about the government giving a tax rebate/deduction (of some sort) to vehicles that are good on gas consumption.
