I think a lot of smart owners received that pic over the past month or so. I know I got it at least 6-7 times.
I always responded with the same sentence.
NOT a smart. smart wheels are 3 lug, that car has 5.
Didn't stop the arguing though....

I thought it was interesting that as soon as the car is identified as a Ford SUV then the issue is suddenly moot. As soon as it doesn't prove the point that a smart car is unsafe, then the accident, "could have happened to anybody."
Is it just me or are half your friends that send you this picture also ride motorcycles and don't see the irony of frequently traveling on a vehicle smaller and more exposed than a smart?
