Got a smart vanity plate?? Show it off here!!

I'm starting to see more and more pictures of personalized license plates scattered about here and there. Let's start keeping them in one place. How about here!

I have a growing collection on my web site...almost 500 as of 01.15.11. They used to all be from Michigan, but I'm constantly adding to it due to the response of this forum post! If you upload a picture of your plate, I'll add it to my website, located here. Or e-mail it to me at billo@itibitismart.com.

Come on you other 49 states...show me your stuff!!

I tried 101010, but it was already taken in Florida. You could also go for XLII or
MY XLII. Or get even more esoteric with SMART 2A, but nobody would 'get' that, even if they were familiar with hexadecimal. Binary is the best with triple 10's. Somebody grabbed it before me though, wonder who.
YOU 2BIG
I have California Environmental Plates (Lake Tahoe) personalized with
4SMART2. With so many forwo buyers in CA you had to get DMV orders in early to capture the word SMART in any format. I ordered mine at the same time I ordered the car. The plates came in 6 months ahead of my little yellow "Buzzy", which was delivered March '08 and the DMV stored them for me until then. They will hold them that long, or more, at your local office.
"Smarty" and "Smartie" were taken, so I had to go with this! :-)

Well, I've had my yellow & silver Smart Passion since February, but only just got around to deciding on the vanity tag - for some reason the picture didn't save off the MD DMV site so...

SUNSMRT
Warning to all... I had originally ordered "YSMART" knowing it was available from the Sec. of State with a UM Plate so it would spell MYSMART. The dealer delayed for almost two weeks to get the plates done, and yet the plate was STILL available. The dealer delayed so long my temporary plate ran out. They wouldn't do the personalized plate anymore claiming it was taken. I went to Sec of State again and it was available. That was August 7th. It took the dealership 6 days to "overnight"a plate to me. The day I received it, August 13th, I went right to the Sec of State. Amazingly enough "YSMART" was taken by someone at the SOS near the dealership on August 11th. Just too much of a coincidence. I will be curious who out there ends up with a YSMART UM plate from Michigan. LEt me know if you ever see one. If I ever get confirmation the dealer stole my plate I'm not going to be a happy camper. And on top of it charged me for personalized plate and is slow in getting me a refund, if I ever see it.

Wow Anne.

That's a major bummer.
Here's mine from Virginia.

I took delivery of my Smartee in March 2008. I reserved the plate back in October of 2007, registered it with an old car I had in the garage, and when I got the call from the dealer, I transferred the plate.
