This is a cool article. Someone with a Fortwo Cabriolet tried to outrun the cops.

Permalink Reply by spicejax on August 4, 2012 at 12:01pm Perhaps, the Officer said to him "Aren't you afraid of being hit by a semi?" , so he punched him and sped off. Anyway, maybe he just wanted to make sure his smart got home in the driveway, instead of being towed and impounded. he might be smarter than we think.
A lot of people "hit and run" to avoid the DUI.
Let's all hope they don't start "smart profiling" us. lol

Permalink Reply by John Knoernschild on August 16, 2012 at 9:36am Hey, I'm all for these innovative and skilled people willing to install a 200HP motorcycle engine in their Smart, but doesn't this go against the engineering marvel that is the Smart? It was built to be highly efficient and we know economy and performance usually don't go hand in hand. Besides, when I went to M-B for the Smart, there were plenty of high performance M-B models on the showroom floor.
