My Brabus is going to start racking the miles !  Just turned 13,000 (It had 8200 when I got it 5 months ago).  After taking a year off, I decided I needed to get a job  =(  I took a job as an appraiser for damaged cars...Typically, I get a company car..This company makes you use your own car, but they give you $825 a month for gas and wear and tear...Looks like the majority of that money will go toward wear and tear !  =)

Have any of you, or do you know of any Brabus owners who have put the 4 light fog/drl in the Brabus.  I got the lights and plugged in the fogs to the pre-wired harness in the car.  The computer will not accept the program to activate them.  Then, the drl comes with 3 wires.  One goes to the fuse, one is a ground, and the third goes?  The lights come without instructions and the dealer can not figure them out.  Thanks in advance

I spoke with Brandon (brandon@tirerack.com) at Tire Rack today in search of winter tires for the Brabus model.

He offered the following Blizzak tires:

Stock size front tires, 175/55-15, for $84 each

Rear tires at 205/40-17 for $117 each. (Stock size is 215/35-17)

I am still looking for a snow tire, and all I can find are the all weather. Anyone else having better luck?

I can't say for certain, but I am pretty sure the brakes are the same size on all 451 smarts. I also have a Brabus and the discs and drums look to be the same size of a friend's Passion.

I talked to the people at Tire Rack and was informed that the brakes are larger on the Brabus and therefore the stock rims will not fit and they do not have a wheel for the Brabus. Tire Rack suggested Discount Tire and Nokian Tire, neither of which have a snow tire in our size. Looks like another winter on the all weathers

Have any of you put on snow tires? If so, did you put on 2 or 4? The reading I have done suggests putting on 4, but with the unique tire sizes we have not sure where to get a set
