On a different note . . . If you're gear shift wont move out of Park then your brake light switch is bad. They fail more often due to wet and cold weather. free fix
I checked on the gas flap last week and was told there still was no part. Its been 6 months so obviously they aren't actually going to make it.

Anybody have any idea how many Brabus Cabrios were imported in model year 09?

I'm still loving mine!
I did upgrade the horn.
Curb feelers, tho ugly might be a smart upgrade. I've already damaged both rear wheels. Doh!, Doh! I hate that!
I'll have to burnish the blemishes and clear coat them. Can't have any Boo Boos on my Brabus.
Waiting on new gas flap. B decal fell off. A black Billet or Brushed Billet metal flap cover with the "B" is a NO BRAINER, spell that smart idea?

Keep after your dealer. I have heard of this problem before and there is no reason for you to accept "can't do anything more". If the dealer offers no satisfaction keep going up the ladder until the problem is resolved.

has anyone had any issues with the drives side mirror? Mine vibrates, was told it was a defect, has been replaced two times... The second time was with the new part #.... Still vibrates, was told can't do anything else...

I enjoyed reading George's and Bruce's comments about their Brabus. I fit right in the catagory with George with SCCA racing in the 70's including a FIA license. I also roadraced motorcycles for many years and still enjoy fast riding whenever I get a chance. Like the two forementioned individuals I have owned and driven a number of performance vehicles and have had numerous appointments with my favorite attorney for my fast and aggressive habits. ( nothing serious, only too fast for the average driver ) I have thoroughly enjoyed driving my Brabus coupe around town and had an enjoyable excursion into the mountains of Virginia. I will continue to keep up with this group as it reminds me of the old PCA people. I have done little to modify my car except adding a WOJO Badboy horn. Thanks George and Bruce. I know I am not the only one although I enjoyed the secret for awhile.

I should have been more clear. I live just north of Jacksonville.

Hi Bruce. It's good to hear from you again. I live in northeast Florida about thirty miles south of the Georgia state line. The calipers were very easy to do as I still had paint left over from another car I did recently. I look forward to seeing photos of your silver car. George.

Hi, George - Nice touch on your Brabus' front brake calipers, the red sets them off nicely. Curious as to where in North Florida you're located? Spent a few days in Destin about a month ago. As time permits, I plan to add photos. In the meantime, each day behind the wheel of this little car nutures the "perma-smile" it's created. Look forward to meeting you and others in the Brabus Group.
