@Chris => Colorado Springs -> 25N -> 470W -> 6W -> 119N -> 72W -> 7N -> Estes ParK

If you remain on 119N the whole time you'll head into Boulder on the Boulder Canyon Drive and will actually miss the Peak to Peak which is 72W.

Okay, Google failed me!  It thinks that the Peak to Peak highway is just a short stretch of road.  Okay, basically you want to get to hwy 119, which starts in Blackhawk and ends in Estes Park.  To get there take either I-25 to I-70, or I-25 to C-470 to hwy 6.  Stay on hwy 6 into the canyon to hwy 119 (follow the signs to the casinos).  From there just stay on hwy 119 the whole thing is a scenic highway into Estes Park.  The best views are on the West side past Nederland, but none of the route is ugly.
Debadging is the process of removing the SMART emblem in order to replace it with another emblem.  For some people this is the Mercedes Benz star, for others (Clint) its the Transformer's badges.

There will be a huge party for SMARTies, and their cars, at Mercedes Benz of Westminster Colorado on November 9, 2011, at 6:30 PM.  MB is hosting this party to show SMART owners an example of a great SMART dealership.  There will be food served from Brother's Barbecue, discussions from SMART technicians and a representative of the Mercedes Benz club of America (SMART cars are the only cars without a MB badge allowed in the club!).  There will be door prizes and lots of SMART bling to be had.  This is going to be a fun time for all.  All SMART car owners are welcome, from anywhere in the US, not just the Denver metro area!  Don't miss this SMART party!  Please RSVP to Katie O'Neil at koneil@mbwestminster.com

@ Barb: think of the shifting as if you are driving a manual: clutch/shift/clutch (that's what it is: an automated manual transmission), using the manual (paddle or stick) shift function makes a huge difference, as you control when you want the car to shift (no matter how good, the computer shifting behavior can be odd sometimes. The transmission is set up the way it is, because it saves a significant amount of weight while still allowing an automated driving function. Toyota is using a CVT (continuously variable transmission) wih their iQ, and it requires more horse power to give the car decent pickup. Car reviewers have been unhappy about either the smart or the iQ in their reviews regarding the transmissions, but as BJ says: there are things that can be done to improve it.

@ Clint: I got my LEDs from www.superbrightleds.com . They have a cross reference guide. I think they are 1156 or 1157s (two-stage brightness for the turn signal and brake function), but I did have to add resistors to avoid the hyper flash. For an easy change you can start with the front side marker lights and the dome and license plate lighting.

While we're on the subject of mods...

@Toes, what LEDs do you use in your taillights?
