Down to our last 2011 smart (green convertible). However, we should have some exciting 2012's just in time for the smart party/BBQ on 11/9. We are planning giveaways, BBQ, technician Q&A's, and much more. Hope to see everyone there!

Thank you Russell for the post about the Smartie party at the MB Westminster dealership.  We will RSVP to Katy and make a real effort to go and meet you all there.  Sorry we have not been able to attend the drives but it has been a busy time for us this summer and now we may be able to join in on the fun you have with the group drives and meets.

We also hope Paul goes to MB at Westminster, however when we had our "Bumble Bee" there for the 20,000 miles service we were very pleased with all the service personell who helped us get our service done.

Hope to meet you all soon

Colorado Smarts:  On the Smart Car of America forum (smartcarofamerica) there is a discussion being held by the Mid West Smarts about where to hold their regional event next summer instead of going to the Wisconsin Dells again.

One idea that was brought up was Colorado and yes they know that you aren't in the midwest.  Has your group ever considered holding a 2 or 3 day event?   Either in the Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak area or ???  It sounds like you could have smarts from all over  who would like to come.  I know there are folks who would be willing to give advice on planning the event.  Maybe your new Smart dealer would help as well?

I know I'd come.

One other thing, if you don't want to go to Estes Park you can take 7S (E) into Lyons.

@Chris => Colorado Springs -> 25N -> 470W -> 6W -> 119N -> 72W -> 7N -> Estes ParK

If you remain on 119N the whole time you'll head into Boulder on the Boulder Canyon Drive and will actually miss the Peak to Peak which is 72W.

Okay, Google failed me!  It thinks that the Peak to Peak highway is just a short stretch of road.  Okay, basically you want to get to hwy 119, which starts in Blackhawk and ends in Estes Park.  To get there take either I-25 to I-70, or I-25 to C-470 to hwy 6.  Stay on hwy 6 into the canyon to hwy 119 (follow the signs to the casinos).  From there just stay on hwy 119 the whole thing is a scenic highway into Estes Park.  The best views are on the West side past Nederland, but none of the route is ugly.
Debadging is the process of removing the SMART emblem in order to replace it with another emblem.  For some people this is the Mercedes Benz star, for others (Clint) its the Transformer's badges.
