@Clint I sent to your email the email address for Dr. Michael Keenoy, (Killer Bee).
I came across a red/silver smart a couple weeks ago at my work. The plates were Colorado "Italian American". Must have been the family loaner as I haven't seen it since that one week.
@Russ/Tia: Who can I reach out to about the name plate for my third place placard?
Sounds like fun, Ed. We're planning on having a picnic in Grand Lake / Granby. If you happen to be in the area you're welcome to join...
Just a reminder, this Sunday we're driving over Trail Ridge road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Plan on meeting at the smart Center at 8:00 AM, and leaving around 8:15 AM.
Russ, FWIW we had the same situation at a Kansas station on the way to the Nationals. Some people went off to find another place to fill up - I just put in the 89 octane and it made no noticeable difference. Filled with 91 when we got to Denver. The occasional tank of 89 won't hurt the car.
@Ed, we're travelling through Nebraska which only has 89 octane gas. Is it recommended to use some sort of an additive to bring the octane up to specs? Is it worth it? I know our mileage dropped when we went through Nebraska last December...
