That is exactly like the one that my Dad had including the basket and seat.
Thanks Jill. The one Mom has is similar to this: http://www.vitalitymedical.com/invacare-economy-rollator-blue.html
Beth, I used to carry my Dad's folding walker in the back of my smart. It did not mark or scratch the back up. If you are concerned about it you can use a blanket/throw around the ends of the walker. Dad's fit in my smart with some room to spare.
Well... I might. But the inside of my car is pretty clean. I hate the idea of scratching stuff up back there. <g>
The walker will probably fit inside. Try it. I know others have carried walker, crutches, canes, & foldable wheel chairs inside their smart cars.
Thanks Robert. The only thing I'm looking to cart around is one of those collapsible walkers that my Mom is using.
I would not use the tow hook attachments to support any serious weight. I have seen several instances where the bolts sheared off and the basket dropped to the pavement. You might consider installing a trailer hitch and getting a small motorcycle trailer at Harbor Freight. These are inexpensive & tow well behind a smart.
The only option I see at Smartmadness is a "Cargo Deck" that goes for $680!!! Yikes! But I really appreciate your input. I'll find something that'll work for Mom!
See if Smartmadness can help you. They used to carry the basket and they have bolt kits.
This looks like exactly what I need. But I can't find a listing for the optional upright. Thanks jwight and Clint for your responses!!
