Something to think about
In February, there will be the "3rd Anniversary Smart Party" in Orlando. I am pasting the details here for you to read. We will be caravanning over when the day comes.

3rd Annual smart Car Anniversary Event in Florida
Hi everybody!!

February 19th 2011 and February 20th 2011.
Smart anniversary in Orlando FL.

I am still putting the final touches on the event but the dates are set and so are the locations!

Saturday we will be having some fun at Old Town in Kissimmee.
I already have a location for us and just need to give them the count of cars so that they can hold a bigger spot... let's invade that place!!!

Sunday we will be attending the Racing Complex where the 2nd anniversary took place, We will have great BBQ food to eat, lots of games and great prizes.

I will keep posting more info on the event as I finalize everything... in the mean time... start asking for time off work... and come on down!! :-D

TELL EVERYBODY... We want this to be huge!!!

Thank you Nancy for even considering making the trip from North Carolina. We appreciate your support. George, good luck with that. Grandchildren are fun can give them back. We missed you both. We were able to deliver 18 turkeys to the Salvation Army. It's nice to know that 18 families will have a Thanksgiving because of the kindness in our club members' hearts.

I won't be there either. We got stuck babysitting my wife's grand daughter from this afternoon until about three pm tomorrow. I do plan to be at the cruise-in at River City Marketplace tomorrow evening, George.

It was brought to my attention that the offer Food Lion is making has strings attached to it. So, Publix, Winn-Dixie, and Walmart are without strings.

The Turkey Run is tomorrow and those of you that are participating I would like to thank you in advance. Please buy your turkeys before you get to the Smart Center at 11:30. We will leave from the Smart Center and head straight to W. Adams St to deliver the turkeys to the Salvation Army. I have spoken to the director there and he is really excited about our generosity. I wish we had more people participating, but we can only do what we can do. The best place to buy the turkeys if you have a card is Food Lion. See you out there.

It was another day of impromptu fun. I tried to gather some of the members to join us, but everyone except for Kim and Karl had other obligations. You all missed a lot of fun in Saint Augustine. It was the gathering of the pirates today. We started out cruising around the city, enjoying the sites and bringing smiles to everyone's faces as we drove by. We then went to the parking garage where we tried to get them to let us park for half price. They had no sense of humor. The parking garage was full and so we took advantage of our size and used up only one parking space. They had a lot of pirates walking around and a lot of tents with cool pirate things for sale. There was also music and other types of entertainment. After that we decided to walk to the marina to see the tall ship Lynx. It was really cool. As we were arriving, the Lynx was coming back in and another tall ship was leaving. This one raised it's sails which was really cool to see. All in all, it was a fantastic day! We were going to grab dinner at the Giggling Gator, but Karl and Kim had to go let the dogs out. I had to drop off some pictures Saint Augustine for a customer, so we went our separate ways. I'll try to give a little more notice on our next outing.

Great, two smiling faces. Funny that soccer ball almost looks like a MB star!
