Hello everyone!  Drove my 2008 Cab here from Cincinnati in October loaded with everything I could carry.  I'm trying to find information on the local Smart Center.  I'm also wondering if there is an activity community.  We had a couple of events a year in Cincinnati but not sure if that's unusual.

I bought my cutie pie in june 2009,walked in and got it the same day. get lots of weird looks and people roll windows down at stop lights and question me about the car, I always have some info sheets with me and hand them out. get about 39 mi in city, dont like the freeway so have'nt tried that yet, I do see quite a few smarts in albq now,
This is such a fast little car, have to watch my lead foot.

Hi everyone! I just got my smart about a month ago! Love it! I have seen a few in the NE heights as well, so far I get 38 mpg. Mine is a 2008.

Hi Smarties! I walked in and walked out with my smartCar same day, no waiting. Hertha, I think I've seen you whizzing around N.E. Heights. I am only getting 30mpg, but then, I just hit the 1k mark last week. Now that she's broken in, maybe the mileage will improve.

Bought my Smart Car Nov. 2008 and just love it. I see several in the N.E. heights now. Think this is the car of the future. I get 39 miles to the gallon so far.

Paul, I ordered my SMART 14 months ago. I was worried over what plates would be taken by the time my car arrived. I went to the MVD office and the nice lady there would not tell me who had which plate but she did tell me which plates using SMART were already in use. Amazingly, the New Mexico plate that simply says "SMART" had not been spoken for. I got that plate and put it on my beatup old Dodge Caravan. People didn't think that was too smart. I am now waiting for the paper registration in order to put my personalized plate on. If you have an MVD Express in your area they might help you.

We got confirmation for a March to May 2009 delivery this week so next spring we can join the burgeoning ranks. I'm really scratching for cool license plate ideas. If anyone knows how to look at the list of existing tags I would sure be interested.

Hi! I am on waiting list - probably have another 17 months to go. At my age, 18 months is gone in a flash. My daughter says "No wait in Denver. Walk in, drive out." Can this be true?
