The AC works great, but the heater seems weak at best. Thank goodness for the heated seats. I am running a ScanGage, and I know that the operating temps are proper, but the air coming out of the vents is tepid.
My '08 Cabrio heat works well. Like any small displacement engine, it does take a few minutes to heat the coolant enough to generate ventolation heat - say 8-10 min. I also have heated seats, which are nice on cold days - in fact, on the high setting it feels like your arse is burning! I love rag-topping so much, that if the outside temp. is >40, I'll run the heat, fan, and seat heaters all on high, keep the windows up, and drop the top during my commute - even up to 65mph. I have yet to need a coat, hat, or gloves! If you're not getting sufficient heat >10min, check your coolant level, and/or have your dealer check your ventolation system thermostat?
