110V charger is acting up

I've spoken to our dealer and I think they are busily leafing through manuals to figure out what I'm talking about.  While they are busy with that, I thought I would post here for user…Continue

I read about "Messages" in the manual and after 11 months of driving, finally got one.  "Care Ser. in 30 Days."   Obviously it means a trip to the dealer, and probably means a battery check.  Does…Continue

Wish the funtest drive was coming to Arizona.  I know it is not a large market, but really want to check out the new electric drive to see if I am willing to buy.

If anyone out there is looking for good press on the electric drive, I'd be happy to do a video or print spot about my experiences over the last 2+ years with Team 250.  I have over 20,000 miles on the car and just last weekend I drove 100 miles on one charge.  After plugging in for 45 minutes while I ate dinner I drove another 10 miles to finish the day.

Waiting impatiently to get more info from my local dealer about availability, timeframe, options, and cost ... have registered for the test drive event May 12 in San Francisco. Heard that in Santa Monica they are giving out $500 coupons after the test drive towards an ED3 if purchased within a few days.

I just turned over 20,000 miles in the smart electric drive!!  It's running like a champ, and my service center here in Chandler, Arizona always takes great care of me.

I'm waiting to find out what sort of deal I might be able to make with Mercedes on my lease (the "team 250" lease was for 4 years, at $599 per month, so I have 2 years left on the lease and am actually paying $760 per month with taxes and fees, etc.).  Obviously I would be interested in breaking the lease and buying, but I want to know more about the battery on the new one, and I might hold out for the option of DC fast-charging (which would allow me to use the smart for fun trips instead of just for commuting).
