I am amazed at how water tight this cute little car is. I love putting the top up and down at speed on a pretty day. The heated leather seats are divine! This little toy is such a nice piece of engineering. Delightfully effective ac and heater year round. The go kart ride is just too fun paddle shifters and all. I am still in the honeymoon phase apparently. I have learned to dart in manual not drive as in hey, I was still using that gear! There are cars comming! :p

Keith,

Every time I hit a bump at 40 or more MPH...SQUEAK. On uneven, poorly poured concrete roads it was a series of squeaks. It drove me nutzzz.

When I took my cab in for the 10K service I asked them to listen for the squeak on the drivers side. They found it and fixed it (under warranty) by simply loosening up and retightening the fasteners of the top's frame. It took about 1.5 hours but was well worth it. No squawking from me!

Good luck with your squeak.

Be sure you are putting your tail gate up after the top is in place, that will cause excess air noise in the back, because it doesn't completly close.

Keith, I have your twin but have not had a problem with noise. I did however have the button fall in twice. I guess I just put to much pressure on the switch. I plan to wire mine so I don't have to have the key switch on to put the top up or down.

Does anyone know if any progress has been made on the "squeaky rib" issue with the soft top? I have found that sometimes if you put the top down and put it back up it doesn't squeak quite as much. Any thoughts?
