Hi Cheryl and welcome to the group.  After the first winter I put snow tires on the rear of mine and, if it isn't too deep, it drives like a tank through the snow.  Drove from Rockford to Davenport during the Christmas Day blizzard a few years ago.  Passed a lot of cars in the ditch.

Hi All,
Hubby and I just bought a 2009 Smart Passion Cabrio and it is a blast. It didn't however come with any records on maintenance, just the main book.
Live in Wisconsin so will see how she drives in the snow. Once in a while anyway. Any comments...

Yes, I guess the snow would insulate your feet.

I am amazed at how water tight this cute little car is. I love putting the top up and down at speed on a pretty day. The heated leather seats are divine! This little toy is such a nice piece of engineering. Delightfully effective ac and heater year round. The go kart ride is just too fun paddle shifters and all. I am still in the honeymoon phase apparently. I have learned to dart in manual not drive as in hey, I was still using that gear! There are cars comming! :p

Every time I hit a bump at 40 or more MPH...SQUEAK. On uneven, poorly poured concrete roads it was a series of squeaks. It drove me nutzzz.

When I took my cab in for the 10K service I asked them to listen for the squeak on the drivers side. They found it and fixed it (under warranty) by simply loosening up and retightening the fasteners of the top's frame. It took about 1.5 hours but was well worth it. No squawking from me!

Good luck with your squeak.
