Every time I hit a bump at 40 or more MPH...SQUEAK. On uneven, poorly poured concrete roads it was a series of squeaks. It drove me nutzzz.

When I took my cab in for the 10K service I asked them to listen for the squeak on the drivers side. They found it and fixed it (under warranty) by simply loosening up and retightening the fasteners of the top's frame. It took about 1.5 hours but was well worth it. No squawking from me!

Good luck with your squeak.

Be sure you are putting your tail gate up after the top is in place, that will cause excess air noise in the back, because it doesn't completly close.

Keith, I have your twin but have not had a problem with noise. I did however have the button fall in twice. I guess I just put to much pressure on the switch. I plan to wire mine so I don't have to have the key switch on to put the top up or down.

Does anyone know if any progress has been made on the "squeaky rib" issue with the soft top? I have found that sometimes if you put the top down and put it back up it doesn't squeak quite as much. Any thoughts?

Anyone else had a problem with the soft top button falling down inside the shifter console? Last week when I put the top down I may have put a bit more pressure in the button than ususal and it went through the top of the console. The top was down and I was going to be out of town for the next 3 days. Panic! I called the dealer but it was after 6 PM. To make a long story short, I was able to pry up the plastic plate that holds the button (the one with the PRND for the shifter) and the button was dangling from it. I snapped the button back in place and then snapped the plate back in place. The moral of the story is be careful how hard you push that button.
