Wanted to say hello and to thank Bob Adams for the good gouge on the protectant for my soft top. Kinda cool as I recognized Bob and his car from his photos while I was visiting the USNA my last trip to Annapolis... Yeah, I was having a pint at O'Brien's... Cheers~ Mike

For those of us who wanted yellow but couldn't get it, would it be possible to ease our pain by using some other color smart for this group?

To answer my own question below see Discussion Form above on Convertible top care.

Does anyone one know if the convertible top needs some kind of protectant put on it? I know there are products for boat tops to make them last longer. Was wondering if there is such a product for car tops.

I feel very lucky to have gotten a black/silver cabrio orphan a week after I got on the list. The best part is that when your reservation comes up, you can trade the orphan for the same $$$ you paid for it and get the one you configured. We may just keep our orphan. We love it!

So I'm jumping in early, but I did configure my black/black cabrio this week, and I'm a happy camper (except, of course, that I couldn't order yellow/black).
