Did you get the manual? The manual tells which buttons to push and how to set it up. The gas tank cap is 8.3 gal so you have to round the capacity to 8 gals. The Smart manual isn't clear whether the 1.4 gal reserve is included in the 8.3. It appears to be in addition to the 8.3 because I've had many instances where I've gone past the 1 gal remaining and put in over 8.3 gals. The mpg appears to read about 10% lower because of gasoline expansion due to temperature and the slight variability of the various different pumps and the flow stopping points.

I have a scan gauge II but I haven't figured out how to set it up, can anyone help me how do I put in the information for a fillup, I just don't get it.

auI bought a Scan Gauge 2 from Scantools.net. They sent it quite quickly. The device is great providing real time gas consumption data. Great as nag to improve gas mileage. Unfortunately I received the device just as I got my ECU upgrade so I couldn't document the mileage improvement from version 1.0. Oh well, can't have it all!

I pick up my smart orphan monday 11-17-2008... I'm always looking for something to make my car just a little bit different. I've seen exhaust on 1 smart where 1 pipe was on each side (not 2 in the middle)... anyone know where to get an exhaust like that.. Makes it look like a big car in the back. lol

this looks like an cool page. I lvoe buying things for my new smart car, purple passion. I ordered an arm rest from smart madness that is due tomorrow. Doesnt' look anything like the one I just saw on here. What is the differance between the 450 & 451 I keep hearing people say?

We just got the Cabrio on Sat. and my wife put a nav system. Because of this they had to take out the radio that the car came with. We now have a Radio 10 that was never used. This is the 6 CD changer/radio with speakers. Willing to sell it for a ScanGuage II and $500. I also have 2 new blue doors and a blue hood for sale or trade. These came off my coupe (yes, we have 2 smartcars). I replaced my doors and hood with anothe color so they are in my garage and looking for a home.

My wife got her smartcar on Sat. She got the cabrio and is driving it EVERYWHERE!! She had a nav system put in and they had to take out the 6 CD changer/radio to replace it. We now have a Radio 10 for sale with speakers, wiring, etc. Smart is getting $1219.88 for the radio, but we will take a "fair" price to help offset the cost of the nav system. Anyone need one, please let me know. The convertible is our SECOND smart, so I guess we are now TWICE AS SMART!!!!
