Hi, I teach middle and high school math in Southern Oregon. I'll be getting my smart over Christmas break, I hope. Can't wait to drive up after the break in my new Smartie. Everyone has been anxious to see it since I told them I ordered one, which was over a year ago.

Hello teachers - My name is Julie and I have owned my smart for 1 month. I teach 7th and 8th grades at a Montessori school in Illinois. This year, my class size is 7. Five in 7th, two in 8th. Last week, on Parent Night, I parked my smart on an unused sidewalk to get my car out of the way, and to give parents my usual parking spot. It fit on the sidewalk perfectly. I carry my cat to school in my smart every day and I've noticed that the class is a lot calmer when he is in the room.

At school for our incoming 6th grade orientation (1st day all the staff was back from the summer) and as I'm talking to another teacher about how I collect "geeky/sciency" things (I'm a science teacher & my husband went to school for computers... so we are self proclaimed geeks) so one of the other teachers pipes in, if that was my smart car out there, of course I proudly said yes. He then told me that one of these days he's tempted to pick up my car and move it to an undisclosed location! I just laughed and am thankful I have a panic button on my keys.

Gotta say, I'm glad I work at a middle school and not a high school, my father also just wants to pick it up and move it. He loves reminiscing about how they used to move one of his high school teacher's car all the time. Put it up on the curb, turn it 90 degrees so that it is locked between two cars.

Hey, I'm Scott. I teach 7th grade in metro Atlanta and just got a SMART last month. My car has been the talk of the entire middle school (all 2,800 kids - yes, we build them large here). Hope to see more teachers here soon.
