Enlisted in USN Sept 1970, retired March 1992. Owned smart since July 2009. Living in Hampton Roads, Va, I've been trying to get a smart club going but it's like herding cats, I should know, I have 3 of them.

Hello. My name is STS1(SS) Jose Gutierrez, US Navy, call me Jose.
I am on Active Duty with 10 years in so far. Just purchased my smart fortwo pure in October. Still don't have plates on it. I am a Submariner so getting used to a small car was no problem.

Hey all. Marvin Shavers United States Air Force, 1977 to 1987. I tried to get my club (First Coast Smarties) into the Veteran's Day Parade here in Jacksonville and we were denied due to the size of the parade. Oh well, hopefully we will be able to get in next year.

For those of us who spent a short amount of time out of our lives doing a job that needed to be done and now spend the rest of our lives trying to forget. I only hope that someday, other orgainizations like the American Legion and the VFW and the DAV will no longer have people who qualify as members

Just posted an event for next June 2011; maybe group members would be interested in joining us. Something to think about over the winter.
Great Pocono Mountain Motor Show.
