July 13th or July 20th or either one? No admission for us Smarties and there is a concession stand there where we can get food and beverages in the pool area and sit around and talk about our cars, lives, work, families, etc, in between swimming, floating around on the lazy river or relaxing in the jacuzzi.

Great idea, and thanks for taking this on. The 13th would work better for me, but see what works best for everyone. Hope to meet some of the new smarties I've not seen yet.

Swim Swim this Sunday, July 13th from 4-6pm. All Smart vehicules and their occupants will be given free admission. Park on the south side of the building at the western end opposite the water park (big glass windows, you can see into the waterpark from outside) by all the other Smart cars. Takes place at the Best Western Sterling Inn on the SW corner of Van Dyke and 15 Mile Rd in Sterling Heights. 34911 Van Dyke Zip: 48312. You don't have to swim, you can just join us for beverages and a meal and/or chitchat. I'll open the side door on the east side of the waterpark to let you in and give you an entry bracelet. Invite your other Smartie amigos.

Both myself and Joann can make the gathering.

It would be like a second honeymoon. We were married there (24 years ago this July 15th) when it was Fairfield's Restaurant and Banquet Center. I believe we were the first wedding at the new banquet center.

Mark a.k.a. Bob Parr--you give me goosebumps!!! Glad you and Joann can make it. A lot has changed in 25 years! And Happy Anniversary!! Oo la la. Our daughter's reception was there 6 weeks ago. We had a blast.

Next time, Victor Martin, the owner of the Sterling Inn says he will open the doors for us to the lobby so that we can drive our Smarties right in and even have a couple of the Smart Cars drive up to the registration desk to check in! I feel a Smart convention coming on. Thanks to all who participated. Gary and Claudia win the prize for coming the furthest--all the way from Holland, Michigan.
