i just got on the wait list for a Smart ED at my local Benz dealer. where can i find out about repair history / reliability of the Smart?

I just want to let everyone in the still waiting group to know that I am no longer waiting. I just received the first 2010 Smart 42 from the dealership in Chandler, Arizona. It is a Passion, hardtoo blue and black shell. I feel it was well worth the wait. Please be patience and your's will come in before you know it.

Well, after one year and 1 month on the wait list, we couldn't wait any longer. We picked up a metalic gray/black one the dealer had on hand. They have several smarts on the lot, and about half a dozen Brabus.
Time for us to leave this group and head on over to a "new owner" group of some kind.

Do to a technicality, I will be leaving this group.

After numerous visits to my dealer.
After untold calls to Smart USA
After an average of 23 inquiries per month into the DDE site,
After untold months of being lost in the dreaded "Your DDE can not be determined at this time" zone.
After one year, five months, and two weeks,
I will be leaving this group!

Smart! I haz it!

With my economic situation (son starting college!), I figured I'd never be able to actually build out my smart.
Along came the Cash for Clunkers program! After bitter disappointment when the first round of funding ran out in 4 days, my local dealer got everything on order for me to purchase an orphan.
All I wanted, plus the premium stereo. Now if I can get my son to let me drive my own car....

My car left Baltimore 3 days ago on a transport.
It should be at the dealer's today.
I should be able to pick it up Wed. afternoon.
I will definitely make the September Chicago run.

Tidbit has left Europe, crossing the pond. Next stop Baltimore.
EDA 8-5. Wonder if I will get it in time for Netroots Nation in Pittsburgh
Aug 13th. There's no reason shouldn't have it in time for Burning Man
first week of Sept.....unless we are using Smarttime
