Have had PLATO since 8/13 and LOVE him....It is JUST TOO CUTE for words. I am in the Chesterfield area and work in Creve Coeur - so that's my area for tarvel. I have answered several questions and made new friends through my SMART. So happy I have it.

Rob; When someone does say something akin to "aren't you scared" I casually reply that the youngsters who drove VW's dealt with the same misconceptions. I am driving the equivalent of Rock and Roll and it is 1968. I don't know how old you are - but even if the questioner does not get the references they do stop asking silly questions. After all - why would I drive something I am afraid to be in?

Obviously not from the St. Louis area but needed to post this:

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping with an event in St. Louis supporting the 2010 SMART Nationals. Idea is to have four caravans heading to Kansas City next June, one of them from the St. Louis area since there is a smart center locally.

Welcome Eric,

Now that you fielded question for a while do you have people telling you what a death-trap the car is? I haven't even received mine yet and most of the time I bring up the smarts I get a comment like "What happens when you hit a tractor trailer head on?" To which I usually reply, "The same as you, nothing survives that".

Have you come across people that seem to be offended by the car? I have and I haven't received my car yet.
