hi, denise... i didn't get up here in time for the celtic cup. how did it go?

 

i've been talking with folks on scoa about a nashville area group. i participated in the emerald coast group in florida and would love to have the same camaraderie up here. is there a group that i'm not aware of?

LET'S FIND OUT!

 

The Celtic Cup Coffee House cordially invites Smart Car owners for Tullahoma's Old Town District's first Spring Cruise-In April 30th. It will be from 10AM -5PM (come for all or part)

The Celtic Cup will be hosting Smart Cars and Mini Coopers and a few VW Beetles (other businesses will host other car clubs). You do not have to be in a 'Car Club' to participate. I already have a commitment from one local Smart Driver... 

We will have 'Art on the Green' (our very own green space). We have asked the band 'Loomis' to perform an outdoor concert (they have excepted, weather permitting). The Foothills Irish Dancers will perform.

All Smart & Mini owners will be entered for a drawing for prizes from The Celtic Cup (and I'm contacting the Nashville Mini & Smart dealers to see if they can help us out with prizes).

anyone ever take the smarts to any of the local car shows? Wow! what a response. i love taking mine! poeple love it and ask tons of questions. it gets so much attention, even from the old school car folks.

I am very happy that Nashville now has a smart dealership. They had a lot of new cars on the lot last Thursday when I was there for my 10,000 mile service and more arriving while I was there. There is no need to wait. Tell your friends they too can be a "smart driver."

I know that many of you probably got invited by Mercedes of Knoxville to join them in the Gatlingburg Christmas parade next Saturday. I've been considering seeing if any "local" smart cars would like to ride together in the Franklin parade...also next Saturday...because it is closer to "home". If interested, let me know a.s.a.p. I'll need to call and see if it is too late to sign up.

Hi all - I live in Cincy but I'm frequently in Tennessee to see family (3 times in the smart so far). Maybe I could join the group for an outing if the timing is right!

Pat: Just got ours, and I'd say go for the Orphan it it's anything close to what you'd like. Everyone should have this much fun! BTW... we have a place in Tennessee, and we're hoping someone schedules a TN event sometime next summer so we can meet other "intelligent" Tennesseans!

Is it worth the wait for a SmartCar? I configured a Smartcar several months ago but haven't received arrival date. There is an Orphan available and wondered if I should purchase it instead. The Orphan isn't really my color but it's Ok.
