I was in Tulsa today at Jackie Cooper Smart Cars and they said that they are going to have their 2nd annual get-together May 8. I'm undecided as to whether I'm going attend though I must say that it was a lot of fun last year. I'm guessing that they had 50 or 60 cars and they had a ralley drive around Tulsa. If you bought your car from them you will get either a phone call, an email, or a postcard from them concerning this event.

Wow....nice turn out for the January event at Mulvane. We had 11 cars for a short little excursion, some good food and a little chit-chat to boot.

Charlie is looking into getting some shirts and/or hats with a club logo and everyone seemed pretty keen on that idea so we'll keep you posted.

Sorry we missed your event. Too many conflicts. I am curious if anyone has inflated tires with nitrogen? Will this violate warranty?

Although I'm in KC, I'm impressed at such a large group without a dealer. Sounds like love!

I'm just interested in groups within driving distance. Met Dan at our Weston, MO drive this weekend.

We might come to your Ponca event and install MDC cruise controls if there is enough demand. Lots more to tell, but we are using them as a means to get into the smart mods biz a bit, and doing installs at a bargain intro price, just about $100 over the parts. Far less than dealers or other shops are charging!

Let me know if there's any interest.

I've been interested in visiting Greensburg and seeing how they're doing now that the media has lost interest. Probably would be a good trip in the colder months. Is anyone interested?

Hi Everyone, I went to KC last Saturday and participated in their monthy drive. We went up to Weston, Missouri about 50 miles north of KC. It was a nice fall drive with lots of awesome foliage. The town is very tiny and quaint with lots of shopping in small craft and antique shops. I was going to be in KC to work on my daughters house and I noticed they were going for a cruise so I jumped right in. Seems like we had 10 cars or so.

Don't forget....Ponca City Halloween day....for lunch. The starting time and place is still yet to be determined. We'll let you know pretty quick. Hope you can come. Dan

yippie-ka-yea. I've got a spare now. I bought it thru Smart Madness and shipped to Wichita it was $169.98. I'll be a bit more relaxed now when leaving town. I'm never going to use the goo they supply for repair flats.

Hey Bruce, Thanks for looking at the 31st Oct for the Ponca City rally. If we do something for a lunch, we could all be back in time to put the kids into diabetic coma on Halloween !
