"There have been some issues like this as well as leakage through the backwindow. I would return to the dealership service department and have them address this concern. Usually, the rear window is replaced and reset to correct this condition."

Rear Window Retaining Water

Anyone have an issue with the rear window, on the passenger side in particular, holding water? It's holding the water in the black plastic component at the top and only runs out when the window is fully raised, difficult to get it all out and stays in there for days after a rain.

Anyone else finding excuses to go for a drive?

Posted on February 12, 2009 at 3:14pm 5 Comments

I’ve had my ’09 for about a month and a half now and I still find myself thinking of excuses to go for a drive, taking the long way home, and regret when I finally pull onto the last stretch home. I've never experienced this with any other car that I've owned and find it odd. For those still waiting for delivery be prepared.

My expensive neglected SUV has started taking anti-depressants and is threatening to run away, I keep the gas low in the tank so it can’t go far.

First Impressions - 2009 Passion Coupe

After an eleven month wait I received my 09 Coupe yesterday (23rd), new darker metallic gray/black, pretty much loaded. I've only been able to drive it 50 miles so far but here are a few 1st impressions.

- Fun to drive with the exception of highway driving (65-70 mph). I'm hoping I get used to driving it on the highway since that's about 75% of my driving. Even the smallest of wind gusts, semi turbulence, or larger cars and utility trucks will get you off course. Impossible to keep… Continue

Thanks for the Nav input. Does the voice command work well? Dialing calls, working the radio etc?

Congratulation on your Smart.
I have to configure ours by end of the year. Still not sure about color - silver/dark gray. How do you like yours?
Did not see it in real yet, would it be possible to get some pictures?
Thanks, Josef

Hi 1AngryMoth !

Welcome to the site, you have a newborn. You will find that once you break the Smartie in it will shift smoother. I think once you learn the cars handling quirk's you will find highway driving more enjoyable. When you get a chance post a photo of your new baby, and have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
