It is honest as to what it is. Stylish, fun and ......sexy?
I've recently relocated to Milwaukee from San Diego, Ca. When I mention that fact often people will look at me and mouth the word "why?. Well..... one reason. Family. And it sure is nice. I suppose that no matter how beautiful a place is with out others to share it with it can be a bit empty. Besides from what Iv'e seen Wisconsin is beautiful and the people are terrific. Oh BTW I work at the local smart center. That's pretty cool too.
Nice to read about the Eau Claire trip! My smartie did OK on the big mountains east of Denver -- and I've mastered the downshifting to pass and climb hills now, so I agree about your comments about good performance.
I just got back from Arizona (last two hours in that hellatious storm on Monday night.) I have to confess to having a bad back, and usually use lumbar support, but did not use it or need it at all on this trip.
Sadly, my windshield was cracked by a rock on the highway near Prescott, so it's going in to the dealer on Monday for replacement. But, still getting lots of smiles and comments!
Last week I had the pleasure to drive a new smart fortwo to Eau Calire from Milwaukee. What blast. I've been loving this car for a few weeks now but untill now have driven it mostly in the city (where it really shines).
I wondered how It would do on the open road. Well after 5 hour and 250 mile trip my respect for the car has grown. It really performed well. Passing slower vehicles was no problem and niether was sharing the road with long haul trucks. Both were non-issues. And I discovered something that is often overlooked with the smart fortwo. Its peformance. It really has a strong engine that delivers power on demand. There really is a lot to like about this car. It delivers miles of smiles.
