I've been a smart owner since

My favorite things about smart
Helen loves the attention. I love the fact that it's "green".
About Me
Both of us are teachers. I'm a musician, and except for my upright bass (and the upright piano in the living room) just about every other instrument I own, fits comfortably in the back.
My smart's name
The Tardis (because it's bigger on the inside than the outside)

Micros on the monument

This weekend was interesting here in the Belle City. Racine had it's "Micro's on the Monument" event downtown. Lot's of interesting small cars from the postwar era. An opportunity to see how much gear we could stow in the back of "the Tardis". Tent and 4 camp chairs as well as all the cooking stuff fit in the back with no problem. The only thing was, we got few cubic yards of… Continue

Well, we've had "the Tardis" for a little over two months now. Helen took it cross country to Pennsylvania to pick up our niece for her annual visit with us. Helen also related the following anecdote, "I was driving and saw a group holding up signs for a $5.00 car wash as a fundraiser. When they saw the Smart coming toward them, they both started yelling,… Continue

Great choice in color! I think the Blueberry Smarts are the best looking ones out there. But then again, I'm a bit biased!
