"For those who remember that I posted 61.75+ MPG couple of years ago on over 500 miles driven on a single tank. Back then my overall average MPG was 43mpg. Couple of years later - my engine now hitting 60000miles mark, my engine avg mpg dropped to…"

"I got my best mileage ever of 40.7 MPG driving 75 MPH from San Diego to Los Angeles and back.  This included almost an hour of stop-and-go traffic.  I did not run the A/C.  Most of the time I seem to average 33-36 MPG driving in San…"

"I have been using an app called aCar for my Android, love it. It keeps track of all expenses not just gas, e.g. services and other expenses. Also has a ton of reporting not just for your MPG. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zonewalker.acar"

"Hi all. My 2009 Cabriolet was getting great mileage in the 44-46 mpg range this summer. But when the weather turned colder this Fall, mileage dropped to the 40-41 mpg range. I don't understand why mileage would drop 10% and if it might drop…"

"I drive with the top down a lot. Also use the AC (top up) and keep up with traffic on the freeway (65-80MPH). In a year and a half with over 15,000 miles I'm averaging 35 MPG. Best was 40 and the worst 31."

Love the photo of the Smart in the snow we had this past year. I have photos of mine in all the snow before the shoveling. It was a mess, but the car faired well in the stuff. You should take a look at www.smartcarofamerica.com for the chapter that was created called DcSmarts under the mid atlantic section. There you will find a lot of good info on local meet and greets and meet other crazy owners like myself. My user name in the forum is gstreetcomic.
