2017 Smart Cabriolet

I've had my 2017 Cabriolet for three weeks, and couldn't be more pleased.  It is so speedy that ( have t0 be very careful as to not get a speeding ticket,  The doors are heaver than on my 2012 model, which gives a very safe feeling.  Also with the new stabilizer, one doesn't even feel wind gusts. and the ride is much smoother,My only complaint is that the I phone cradle was not designed to adjust for the new Apple'sI phone 6 plus;  It will stay in enough not to fall out but is  not  very…See More

Just got word that my new cabriolet is on it's way.  It's being shipped on the Orion Highway. expected to arrive in Baltimore on July 10th, and from there to Jacksonville. and transported to Sarasota.  Fun to track the ship on the computer.

Would be great if the Smart Car company would make some videos showing how to operate the new Smart highline radio.  I've had my new one for over a month, and still have trouble operating the system,

2012 Passion Cabriolet

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 11:18pm 5 Comments

After waiting for nearly nine months, I finally got my new metallic blue, Passion Cabriolet  I traded in my 2009.

Am so pleased with the new car.  The transmission seems to be a lot smoother, and I love the ambient lighting, the cruise control, and especially the new radio with GPS and surround sound.  The daytime running lights are another plus.

Would be interesting in hearing any comments about your 2012 model.

Navigation system

I am having trouble setting up the voice activated navigation system on my 2012 Smart Car.  I followed the manual, but when I give commands orally the system does not work.  Any easy suggestions? Thanks,

surround sound

If you are planning to get a new Smart Car, I would highly recommend the surround sound.  It's awesome.  I have never heard a better stereo system.  It's rather expensive, but worth every penny.

I usally use one of those lint rollers that have the tape on them. It takes up most of the dirt and dust a vacuum can't get out.

I love mine too! I was a little surprised when the dealership changed the way my car goes into manual, by simply pulling on one of the paddles. they also didn't tell me they had made the change, sheesh!
All the best, Randy M.
