Bike Racks
Has anyone had the need for a bike rack for a smart? And have you found a supplier? Apparently Thule doesn't yet have a rack for smarts.

Was actually thinking about a rack for the back of the vehicle, not the roof. $1,000 is a bit much. Thank you!

You can get a Thule bike rack at 4smartcar. I have the 2-bike rack. The nice thing about it s that it locks the rack to the car and the bike(s) to the rack. No need for extran chains or locks.

My owners' manual says to NOT carry anything on the roof. It would raise the center of gravity and make the car unstable.

The Euro Smart have been in existing for 12 years, so I would say that they have a very large head start. I've been a Smart owner since March 08, and slowly converting the car the way it should be a GERMANY BRABUS SMART.
