I passed it on to the Insider group. The plan as I understand it is to meed at the Denver Smart Center at 11am on Sunday (11/8), spend time just talking about Smart things and then to go to a local restaurant for some lunch. I do not believe a drive is planned afterwards, however, with the good weather we are having, a drive would be a great idea. Hope you can attend.

I still need to check the price of steel. With the way the Chinese have been buying it all up the price has gone up almost daily. Keep in touch and I will have the info in a few days, hopefully.

It will be an official COSMOS drive. toes is organizing it as we speak! I'm glad you and Mary will be able to come. We seem to have core group of regulars, and it makes it more fun. This is all very interesting to me. I get to hang out with and get to know people I never would have otherwise, and it sure is a blast! My parents live in Manitou, so I should be able to drop the kids off with them, and be able to tour unencumbered. If we do it the 29th, I may be a bit of a mess. I'm going to a sanctioned "rave" the 28th, but I wouldn't miss our meet for the world!

We could meet at the GOG visitors' center, then take the circuitous route through GOG, and maybe hit a restaurant in Manitou Springs for lunch. The altitude shouldn't be a problem as far the weather goes, and maybe we can get more Southern Colorado smarties to join us. What do you think? It's off-season, so maybe there won't be too much traffic in GOG. It would also be a cool place to take pictures of the cars.
