I was really interested in the electric smart ..... until I saw the MSLP $45,000 you have got to be kidding me. I just cannot see that. I don't think I will live long enough to recoupe that amount of savings.

Ran across this article on Gizmag that AAA will be adding the capability to recharge ED's as part of their roadside assistance. Doesn't say how long it will take or if it only covers certain brands, but at least it is a sign the service industry is moving deeper into that form of renewable power...…See More

Hi carlito! Glad you joined the smart new Orleans group! The saints helment car is not mine. It is one I saw at the dealership. It is funny. I am planning a fun smart car get together on November 7 starting at melvins bar.... 1221 St Claude at Frenchman street at 4:00. It should be fun... I want as many smart cars as possible. Your Louisiana group is much bigger than mine. Could we put it on there?

Carlito---Was wondering how you're doing with your DDE/Info/Updates etc. I'm still waiting for my 09 Rally Red passion coupe. I'm in N.E. Hi Carlito...Wondering if your DDE has re-appeared...I'm waiting on Rally Red also and was told that any delays are not due to that color...but could be explained by large numbers of similar configurations...Best of Luck to You...BTW one big benefit of having one of the solid colors (black-red-white) is that the panels are color impregnated as opposed to being painted...Dave G.
