- Purchased a '08 white/black/black orphan in Nov 08 and love driving this little car. In town milage is 40 MPG so far. Great fun.
My other vehicles are an '05 Triumph Bonnie. and an F150 pickup. The pickup stayes parked most of the time.

Jan and I just returned from a trip in the Smart to Kempner, TX to visit my parents. 830 miles one way and without a hitch with the car, it performed beautifully and saved a great deal of gas in the process. There are two dealers in Texas (one in Dallas and one in Ft. Worth) so the area was not completely devoid of other Smarts, still we continued to get the usual funny looks and expressions of disbelief.
