About Me

My wife, LaDonna, and I moved down to Savannah last year from Southern Illinois to get away from the cold weather. We choose Savannah because its so beautiful and has lots of palm trees and the Tybee Island beach close by. I first saw a blue Smart car at a landscape nursery on St. Simon's Island last year (summer of 2008) right after we moved down. I looked it over and spoke with the owner for a few minutes then came home and searched the internet. I really liked what I saw. From that moment on, I knew the Smart Car was the car for me and my wife. With a little persuasion to my wife that we would purchase a convertible , (my wife was a Sebring convertible fan), my wife agreed to give the Smart Car a try. We made the $99 deposit to reserve our car. We found our "Beach Buggy" online and made the purchase March 14th. We both really love the car. It looks great. We get a lot of compliments. It handles very well. And the gas mileage is great.
