Just thought it would be interesting to see how our waiting experience compares to others, and it's something to do while we wait. And it may help others be encouraged as they see how the pieces fit together. So here goes, I've been keeping a running log on my page everytime I get a bit more information.

No shelter for my Smart

Hi anyone out there who has had their Smart for a while who doesn't have shelter for it? Wondered if you had any issues with the finish due to weather events. We live in Kansas so the weather changes daily, sometimes hourly, with wild swings in temperature, rain, wind, sun, hail, ice, snow, you name it.

We probably won't have any place to put our Smart inside when we do get it, probably April, will be soft top cabriolet. We live just off the highway, but do have gravel roads for a few blocks. W… Continue

Your snow pics of Ruby T are wonderfull. Red smart against all white background. and the one with the trees in the background is really pretty as well. The red one could be a Christmas card. That picture on the front and the liscense plate photo inside would pretty much say it all!

Back in July I posted a request from members about what options they would recommend for the new Smart I was purchasing.

You strongly recommended the heated seat in your reply. Well the temperature here has dropped to 30 and my wife LOVES the heated seats and believe that allow makes the purchase of the car.

Thanks for the recommendation, It really helped in the final decision making. I have had my Smart for two months now and love the car.

Actually my DDE moved up to April prior to my config.
But Jackie Cooper of Tulsa told me I should get my smartie 90- 120 days. So my date should move up.
My husband and I figure around Jan or Feb now.
