- We are both 70+ years young, retired to Kimball, Nebraska, May 2006, following five years working at a U.S. Army Hospital in Wuerzburg, Germany. In Germany, we saw the SMART's when they first hit the autobahn, were VERY impressed with their size, "cuteness" and speed. However, the much-diminished MPG we are now hearing related to the U.S. version has us really wondering what we may [or may NOT] do when ours is FINALLY(?) delivered early 2009.
