I installed them myself. Ordered light strips here: http://tinyurl.com/2fa32wa and used 3m high strength double sided tape (for trim installation). Cleaned the surface with pharmacy alcohol, and wired into the side marker lamps with simple clips. As they are installed to the hood I am thinking of adding disconnect plugs, but the cables are long enough to open the hood and place it in the hangers for service access.

Jake, I just looked up in my bank account records what we paid...we paid a total of $813.54 for the cruise equipment, installation AND the purchase/installation of an arm rest all together at same time.

We LOVE the cruise control.  Even though it is an after market add on - it works GREAT, we have had no issues with it whatsoever and we did not loose any of the current functionality we already have for the automatic windshield wiper, etc.

 

It was simply added into the end of the wiper control and we just push in on the end of that control stick to activate the cruise when at the desired speed. there is a little red inidcator light next to the new end where you push in to let you know when the cruise is engaged.

 

The ONLY thing I can think of that MIGHT be slightly a negative is the red inidicator light is not easily viewable and is blocked by the steering wheel...so sometimes to be sure it is on or off I have to lean forward to see around the steering wheel to view the light. But that is actually not a huge deal vs the ADVANTAGE to actually having the cruise now.  I do not regret getting it for one moment...we knew from the time we got the car that we absolutely WANTED to get cruise added as soon as possible.

Its nice to meet you as while.
Now as far as where my Beznz Star is i have moved it and i now have a current picture so you can go look at that.
and i dont know how big it is,
there is a guy in my area that sells them to the smart owners for like 25 a piece and installs them.
i am the first in my area to put my star where it is now.
and my SMART stickers i actually had made just for me.
i just went to like a local sign shop and the guy did both my smart stickers and the one on the front.

Hi Jake, I used double sided auto moulding tape I got at Aid Auto. Cleaned the areas good with a little Acetone. Apply tape to the bracket, also used a primer for the tape that came with my scoop. Make sure you place it Top Left for easy viewing.
