I got a beep and a thumbs up from a motorcycle that passed me yesterday. I think I will get some Harley Davidson badges to put on the car, so I fit in. Ha.

Mileage illusions

I have had my smart since Oct 2008. I now have the 2.0 update which I highly recommend. I have lived with a scanguage II now for several hundred miles.

Here are some observations on mileage/.

The mix of speeds, # of accelerations ( ergo stop signs) etc has a big effect on the average mileage.

There are a handful of mistakes and errors that come into play with the scanguage.

For a while with careful driving, I was getting well over 40 mpg
