February 13, 2010 at 9:30am to February 14, 2010 at 3pm
“2010 Red Wine, Chocolate & Triumphs Tour”On Valentine’s Weekend (February 13 and 14) we will host our 5th annual drive to warm up our Triumphs, and join in the festivity of red wine and chocolate tasting. Since 2005 intrepid Triumph drivers have enjoyed a wonderful time touring, sipping fine red wines (they have white and pink too), and tasting chocolates (yum!).This year we will head off in a different direction from previous years. Instead of touring Olympic Peninsula wineries, we will visit several wineries in the south Puget Sound area.Saturday Feb 13th: Meet in Tacoma at 9:45 AM at the Starbucks coffee shop located at 4802 Center Street. From I-5 take SR-16 west toward Bremerton, then take Exit 1C for Center Street toward “Fircrest”. Turn right onto Center Street where you will find the Starbucks immediately on your left. We’ll leave Starbucks at 10:00 to visit wineries in Tacoma, Olympia, and Tenino, with a lunch stop at the Ram Bighorn Brewery in Lacey. Our final winery visit of the day will include our own private wine tasting party, with a variety of foods and desserts.Make overnight reservations at the Peppermill Empress Inn in Centralia. Call 877-736-9441, identify yourself as with the Tyee Triumph Club, and ask for the $66.70 AAA rate.Sunday, Feb 14th. After breakfast we’ll tour a vintage motorcycle museum before touring to wineries in the Centralia, Chehalis, Olympia and Rainier area. A lunch stop will be included in there somewhere.Come join us. You will have a great time with your sweetheart, and with wonderful friends enjoying three of life’s finest pleasures: Red Wine, Chocolate & Triumphs!RSVP to: Larry and Joanne BergenPhone: 206-842-7398Email: jcb760@comcast.netSee More

John,
Since I don't drink, I have decided to pass on the tour. It is my anniversary and my bride wants to do dinner on the 13th.

John, I've decided to attend the Smart Event in Kansas City this summer. If you're going, we can caravan.

John, I see that you haven't RSVP'd on the events page. It might be a good idea to have everyone going do that. I was in to the dealership today and asked that he email all owners and direct them to the event page. The dealership is going to sponsor a May event as well. They are not sure yet what, when or where but will let everyone know. Also I asked for them to participate in our May 2nd event. He has not figured out his budget yet, so could not give a firm answer.

John,
I have got to start looking at the Seasmart page more often. It seemed that for the longest time, there was no input. I look forward to the Leavenworth Rally. It will be fun!
