I have seen the seat belt buckle jam a few times. quick fix suggestion, use something thin and flat (butter knife) and slide it in/out and side to side in the slot of the buckle. (where the belt part goes in)   The times that I have seen the…

Saftey Belt Receptor

Has anyone had their safety belt receptor fail?  When I went to buckle up yesterday, my seatbelt would not fasten at all!  The clip seeps to be jammed but on further inspection...it seems to be void of a clear plactic-ish piexe that the passenger side has!  So I had to clip it in the passenger side and drive with the annoying seatbelt warning for a bit.  Has anyone had to replace this?  I tried a couple of places to find a part but since it is a safety issue, it can only be done at the dealer. …See More

Welcome, always good to see another metro smartie (White Lake here). sMUG was started in Feb. and has had 6 meetings/events so far and I'm glad to see you've join our group.

I a little curious why you wanted to start a new group for the metro area, as the majority of sMUG members are in the metro area and we have the full support of smart Center Bloomfield and several of our meetings have been there. Keep an eye on the sMUG group for upcomming events (some REALLY good stuff), and I hope you can join us.
