"My little wonder had a serious engine problem at about 67,000 miles, and it took several weeks for the Merriam dealership to fix the problem. They did give me a (almost) new Mercedes C300 to drive, so I cannot complain about their support.…"
"My check engine light came on at about 67,000 miles, then went out on its own. It came on again about 500 miles later. The dealer reset the light, and the car runs fine, but they want me to have a valve job done, and it could cost as…"
"We had some 100 degree plus days in KC this summer, and my gas mileage dropped about 4-5 MPG. It went back up to normal when the temps went back down. I blamed it on running the AC and having the fan on 3 or 4. As a side, I keep track of my total…"

My smart car is called the little wonder. I have been driving an '87 Chevy Astro van, which the Boy Scouts in my Troop call the Wonder Van. They call it that, because they wonder if it will make it on the next campout. I bought it new, and it has 310,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. My little wonder already has 35000 miles on it, and I am averaging 42.4 mpg. That beats the heck out of the 20 I get out of my van. Now, it just depends on how much I need to haul as to which car to take.
Most of these different colors are custom painted at the dealership and cost a good deal over reg. colors. I do custom colors and designs that you can order via the mail, www.smartcar-skins.com and www.smartpaintskins.com, both allow you to get custom colors and designs at a fair price with a skins wrap on your panels. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions. I have a long wait for my smart so I'll be on here pretty regular. Kim Brainard
I had the same thing happen to me with the DDE. I reserved in November 2007 and still have not configured, but when I saw a DDE come up a couple of weeks ago, I got excited. It has changed three times in the last couple of weeks... Now says May 2009 - July 2009. Hoping it will get closer and closer.
