Just got the call from the dealership. Needed a new battery. Kinda upset that I'd gotten a new one in April '09 due to the Cabrio battery recall and it only had a 1 year warranty. >shrug<</body>

Service Inquiry

I'm hoping some of y'all can help me out. My poor smart ('08 Cabrio) is dead for the second time in 4 days. Completely and totally dead. I'm arranging to have it towed to one of the dealerships in the area, but was wondering if anyone knows a good service center (non-dealership) I can contact to get a quote if this ends up being a ridiculous cost. I live in Chicago proper but I'm willing to travel. Thanks!  See More

I have a 4:00 install by Steve for his cruise control and a friend has the 3:00 spot.I want to be there early enough so I am not rushing around.Isn't Knauz the dealership in Lake Bluff?I e-mailed them a few weeks ago,got one responce and haven't heard anything since.I am planning on stopping at the smartcenter in Milwaukee and hopefully joining their group for the drive across.I am goning to make some kind on sign for my car so other's from Chicago can find me.
