Seat back adjusters

Posted on March 20, 2009 at 11:40pm 2 Comments

I was trying to retrieve some letters that had fallen behind the seats of my SMART when it accured to me that the release levers that control the seat backs are located between the seats. It is terribly awkward to move the levers standing on the outside. It would be so much better if the levers were on the outside of the seats. I am looking to see if they could be reversed. Had the SMART for a week. So far so good.

LONNIE, I PLACED AN ARMREST IN MY smart AND THAT MAKES THE LEVER EVEN HARDER TO REACH. I PLAN ON DOING JUST WHAT IS NEEDED. UPON LOOKING I AM GOING TO HAVE TO DRILL SOME HOLES IN THE SEAT BACK. I WILL KEEP PEOPLE INFORMED OF MY PROGRESS. I HAVE ADDED THIS TO MY "LIST OF THINGS TO DO", RIGHT BEHIND THE CHANGING OUT THE RADIO, LOWERING THE CAR, ADDING REAT WHEELS AND TIRES TO THE FRONT. I AM A LITTLE SLOW, BUT I DO GET THEM DONE.
