Officially the smart is not rated to tow anything. If you look around the internet you will find discussion boards where people talk about towing with the smart. I would try to go as light as you can.

Your transmission is losing it's programming.
Most common reason is when you are shifting into reverse, you are still rolling forward and the sensor gets confused which gear it should be in?
When this happens, put your foot on the brake…

Roof Problem
My Smart Cabrio is having roof problems. It looks like 2 pins came out of the drivers side of the fabric roof system. I have the extended warrant and we have an appointment tomorrow in Jax, Fl. I hope they can fix it fast- It's been raining here and I am tired of driving other peoples cars while My Smart is safe in the garage.

LOST Smart Key!!!!
I know this has NEVER happened to anybody before now..... but I lost my Smart Key!!! I searched everywhere !!!! You would not believe what I when through looking for the KEY! Finally I gave up and got the spare KEY to use.
I called my Smart Car Dealer in JAX to order another KEY. Guess what!!!! A replacement KEY is almost $500.00. JUST for a KEY with a computer chip. If it's got a computer chip why can't they locate my original…

Trun lights in the doors are Popping off
Is anybody else having this problem??? The driver side turn light popped out, the little plastic latches are broken off. Wouldn't you know, the passenager side light has popped out and the plastic latches are broken off on that one too. I don't know what is breaking the plastic clips. Those lights do not look good flopping on the doors. Well a Smart person does not drive around with the lights beating on the doors; So 2 sided tape is used until new lights can be ordered.
