Sounds good. John hasn't driven it yet. It will feel a little different than the Boxster to him. I was awake around 4 a.m.; guess I couldn't wait to drive into work this morning! Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I heard from Liza Munroe at NV hair salon that you had a smart. John and I picked ours up tonight in Lynnfield. We had a reservation in since May 22, and our delivery date moved out to Jan-Mar 2009. He stopped in last Wednesday on his way back from Boston and learned that a white smart similar to what we ordered was orphaned and would be arriving by the weekend. We were in Providence this weekend and signed the papers on Sunday on our way home. I'm so excited to finally have this car! I see you've got graphics for Summerwind on your doors. Looks nice, and I like your plate. Mine will be jprdy-j, and I'll be adding shop @ www.jeopardyjanet.com for our Internet-based franchise. I'll stop in and see you the next time I'm downtown. Have you had any trouble parking your car?
I was getting what you said you are until they told me on here to use premium gas. I did and the first time got 45mpg...then I put it in again for the second tank which was taking me to Maine and that is when I got 44...I was in Maine for 4 days, not using that car the entire time but did use it, drove home and still have a half tank and haven't gotten gas yet....I am still in shock! Plus for the people here that thought I was NUTS buyiing it...I enjoy telling them my great news!
That's funny that your wife's a librarian because I work at Barnes & Noble and have tons of books. I don't go anywhere without one. I don't plan to haul boxes of books in the car but it's great to hear that you had plenty of room.
I got my Smart in March, so it didn't see much of winter. I think tires have more to do with winter traction that anything else about the car. I just checked tirerack.com and they don't list any snow tires for the car, but say to call them (888-541-1777). Good luck!
